The 1554C2GYCL is the 120 x 65 x 41 mm (nominal) 1554 series enclosure fitted with a clear polycarbonate lid on a light gray polycarbonate box; the part page lists it at 4.7 in x 2.6 in x 1.6 in (119 mm x 66 mm x 41 mm). It is well matched to long PC boards carrying LEDs or displays that need to be read without opening the enclosure.
This clear-lid model is listed as UL94 V-0, IP68, and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13. As with all 1554 polycarbonate versions, it is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, IK08 impact rated per IEC 62262:2021, and recommended for -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Inside, the drawing shows 113.44 mm x 54.44 mm with 34.50 mm height, and the maximum P.C. board is 52.83 mm x 110.49 mm. M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping screw posts and vertical PC card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in; size C has no internal DIN rail tabs. A 1554CPL steel inner panel can be ordered separately.
The two piece tongue and groove lid seals with a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, and closes with 4 included M4 stainless steel self-captivating screws at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Mounting holes outside the gasket channel also take the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554C2GYCL ships in shrink wrap at 0.28 lbs (0.13 kg).
