Hammond 1554AGY 52x50x40 mm Gray Abs IP66 Enclosure

The 1554AGY is the general purpose ABS version of the smallest 1554 enclosure, measuring 2.05 in x 1.97 in x 1.57 in (52 mm x 50 mm x 40 mm) in light gray RAL 7035. It is intended for indoor projects where a small, gasketed screw-cover box is needed for PC boards or connections without the UL listing of the polycarbonate models.

ABS versions are molded from general purpose material rated UL94 HB and are for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and have a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction with a one-piece high temperature silicone gasket that ships loose inside the enclosure. Two included M4 stainless steel lid screws are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated opening; recommended torque is 85 - 92 ozf-in (60-65 cN-m).

The 1554AGY holds a P.C. board up to 44 mm x 42 mm or the 1554APL steel inner panel (ordered separately), and has two 4.30 mm wall mounting holes outside the gasket channel. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships at 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg).
