Hammond 1552CHGY Size C Wall-Mount Holder for 1552 Enclosures, Gray

The 1552CHGY is the gray wall-mount holder for size "C" enclosures in the 1552 hand-held ABS enclosure series. It lets a hand-held device be temporarily fixed to a wall and lifted out again when it is needed, which suits instruments, controllers and sensors that live on a wall between uses. It is sold separately from the enclosures and matches the gray enclosure color.

The holder is molded from flame retardant ABS plastic rated UL94-V0, and the purchased assembly includes the holder itself. Hammond notes that the holder also works with the size C cable gland kit (1552CPGKIT), so a corded 22 mm-deep C-size enclosure fitted with a rubberized cord grip can still be docked.

The part page lists a size of 2.6 in x 1.16 in x 1.28 in (66 mm x 29 mm x 33 mm); the holder drawing shows overall dimensions of 57.45 mm [2.26 in] x 29.43 mm [1.16 in] x 32.50 mm [1.28 in]. Shipping weight is 0.04 lbs (0.02 kg) and it ships in a bag.

Mounting holes are countersunk (82.0 degrees) for flat head screws. The instructions call for mounting to a solid surface using #6 flat head screws, which are not supplied; hardware should be user-specified depending on the application. 3D models are also available.
