The 1552C1GY is the compact C1 size of the 1552 series hand-held ABS plastic enclosures, in gray. Designed as an electronic instrument enclosure, it is ergonomically shaped for a comfortable fit in the user's hand and is also suitable for desktop use, so it works well for hand-held controllers and compact electronic instruments.
It is molded from flame retardant ABS plastic with a satin texture, rated UL94 V-0. Lap joint construction protects against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54 requirements.

- Maximum PCB: 49 mm x 43.7 mm, mounted with #2 self-tapping screws

- Closed with four self-tapping screws (nickel plated on gray enclosures); no mid-wall snap closures on the C1 size
Recommended cover screw torque is 21-28 ozf-in (15-20 cN-m). The purchased assembly includes box, lid, 2 panels and 4 cover screws. Optional size C accessories are the 1552CPGKITGY cable gland kit (wire diameters 2 mm to 6 mm), 1552CHGY wall-mount holder and 1552CPLGY-10 end panels. The black version is 1552C1BK. RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, 0.08 lbs (0.04 kg).
