Light gray and flanged, the 1551WKFLGY is the 80 x 40 mm size of the 1551W watertight polycarbonate miniature enclosure range. Its integrated wall-mounting flanges let electronics designers and installers fasten a sealed PCB housing straight to a wall, panel or equipment frame, indoors or outdoors.
Construction is polycarbonate with a satin texture, flame rated UL94 V-0. A replaceable silicone gasket seals the lid against water and dust, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP68. In the box you get the enclosure body, lid, gasket and four #4 plastite self-tapping cover screws.
Key dimensions: 80 mm (3.15 in) length without the flanges, 40 mm (1.57 in) width and 22 mm (0.87 in) depth with the lid fitted. The manufacturer drawing gives 100.01 mm [3.94 in] overall length across the flanges. Molded-in standoffs take #2 self-tapping screws and accept a circuit board of up to 74.5 mm by 34.5 mm.
