The 1551PFLBK is a square black ABS enclosure with integrated mounting flanges molded into the lid. It gives installers and OEM engineers a small box that can be wall mounted or suspended with a tie wrap, for housing a compact circuit board or potted assembly.
The box measures 40 x 40 x 20 mm (1.57 x 1.57 x 0.79 in), length not including the flange; overall over the flanges the drawing shows 56.30 mm (2.22 in). Inside there is 34.72 x 34.72 mm and 16.00 mm of height, taking a P.C. board up to 34 x 34 mm on the molded standoffs.
It is made from general purpose ABS plastic in black (RAL 9011), with UL94 HB flame rating and 2 mm (0.08 in) walls. The lap joint between box and lid protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54.
The 1551PFLBK includes box, flanged lid and 2 black plated #4 x 1/2 in self-tapping cover screws; recommended torque is 35-43 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). PC board screws (#2 x 3/16 in, 1551ATS100) are sold separately. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships bagged at 0.05 lbs (0.02 kg). The grey version is 1551PFLGY.
