Hammond 1550NEGASKET IP66 Eva Foam Lid Gasket Kit, 250×250 mm, 2-Pack

The 1550NEGASKET is a replacement gasket kit for the 250 x 250 mm 1550N enclosure in natural or black, with or without a factory gasket (1550N, 1550NBK, 1550WN, 1550WNBK). Each kit includes two pre-formed economical EVA foam gaskets, sold as a pair, for builders and OEMs who need to seal a diecast box against water or replace a worn gasket.

The EVA foam gaskets are rated up to 65°C (149°F) and are designed to meet IP66 when properly installed with the lid screws torqued at 55 cN.m. Without a gasket the 1550 enclosures are designed to meet IP54, so this kit is the step up for wet locations; for IP67 or a wider temperature range, the silicone 1550NSGASKET kit is the upgrade.

Adhesive backing makes installation on the lid easy, and the gasket retainer on the 1550 lid gives accurate, steady positioning of the seal. The enclosure lid is held by M3.5 x 0.6 x 12 mm stainless steel screws, which should be torqued to 55 cN.m to achieve the IP66 rating.
