Hammond 1550K 140×102×72 mm Natural Diecast Aluminum Enclosure

The 1550K is a natural-finish diecast aluminum enclosure from the 1550 Series, with a compact 140 x 102 mm footprint with a comparatively tall 72 mm body. Die-cast aluminum alloy is tough yet easy to machine, and the unpainted body is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. As supplied, without a gasket, the 1550K is rated IP54. Adding the 1550KEGASKET EVA foam gasket kit brings it to IP66, and the 1550KSGASKET silicone kit is the IP67 upgrade (with properly installed gasket and lid screws torqued at 55 cN.m). The same size in black powder coat is the 1550KBK, and the version shipped with an IP66 gasket is the 1550WK. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in shrink wrap.
