Hammond 1550F 171×121×101 mm Natural Diecast Aluminum Enclosure

The 1550F is a natural-finish diecast aluminum enclosure from the 1550 Series, with a 171 x 121 mm footprint with a 101 mm body height, the deep member of the 171 x 121 mm pair (the 1550E uses the same footprint at 51 mm). Die-cast aluminum alloy is tough yet easy to machine, and the unpainted body is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. As supplied, without a gasket, the 1550F is rated IP54. Adding the 1550EEGASKET EVA foam gasket kit brings it to IP66, and the 1550ESGASKET silicone kit is the IP67 upgrade (with properly installed gasket and lid screws torqued at 55 cN.m). The same size in black powder coat is the 1550FBK, and the version shipped with an IP66 gasket is the 1550WF. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in shrink wrap.
