Hammond 1486D60 5-Foot 6x6 Type 4/12 Wiring Trough, 14 Gauge

At 60.00 in (1524 mm) long, the 1486D60 is a five-foot 6 x 6 in Type 4/12 wiring trough for extended junction runs. Like the rest of the 1486 Series it is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water, for electricians, OEM machine builders and plant maintenance teams.

Formed from 14 gauge steel, the trough has smooth continuously welded seams and an ANSI 61 gray powder coated finish on trough and cover. The butt hinged cover is fastened with easily operated stainless steel screw clamps and seals against permanently secured, oil resistant gaskets.

The drawing for this length shows a 59.99 in overall length, a 59.41 in top opening and a 5.19 in side opening. The door is 60.38 in by 6.38 in, with 59.24 in x 5.25 in of clear space available on the door. Mounting holes of 0.31 in are laid out in two 29.37 in spans along the back and 6.69 in across.

Welded 12 gauge external mounting feet carry the trough, giving a 7.50 in width across the feet. The 1486D60 ships boxed at 32 lbs (14.51 kg).
