Hammond 1486D30 30-Inch 6x6 Type 4/12 Gasketed Wiring Trough

For a 30-inch junction run, the 1486D30 provides a 6.00 in x 6.00 in (152 mm) enclosed trough that is 30.00 in (762 mm) long. Part of the 1486 Series, it is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water, making it a fit for machine builders and plant electricians.

It is made from formed 14 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams and finished, per the series specification, in ANSI 61 gray powder coating on both trough and cover. The butt hinged cover is secured with easily operated stainless steel screw clamps and seals against oil resistant gaskets that are permanently secured.

On the part drawing, the top opening measures 29.21 in and the side opening 5.21 in. The door is 30.38 in long and 6.38 in wide, offering 29.25 in x 5.25 in of clear space available on the door. The unit ships in a box at 19 lbs (8.62 kg).

The trough mounts by 12 gauge external feet welded to the back, with 0.31 in holes and 6.69 in spacing across the feet; the overall width across the feet is 7.50 in.
