Hammond 1485BX 2.5 x 2.5 Adjustable Wireway Fitting, 2-7

The 1485BX is an adjustable fitting for 2.5 x 2.5 N12 wireway, from the 1485 X Series. It allows on-site length adjustment of 2 in to 7 in, so electricians and machine builders can close the final gap in a wireway run without ordering a custom section. The manufacturer short description lists it as ADJUSTABLE FITTING 4 in.

The fitting is steel with a gray finish. The manufacturer drawing identifies an adjustable fitting of 10.25 in, a base plate of 10.63 in, a compression ring and a sealing cover plate, with an adjustable range shown as 2.00 to 7.00 in. Inside dimensions are 2.12 in x 2.12 in. Other drawing dimensions include 3.13 in front-view dimensions, a 1.38 in side-view dimension, a 1.67 in top-view dimension and a 3.88 in bottom-view dimension, with 0.28 in diameter holes.
