Hammond 1481WDH2420 18 x 11 Deep Hinged Window Kit, Gray Steel Type 4

The 1481WDH2420 is a deep hinged window kit in painted steel with a 18.00 x 10.75 in (457 x 273 mm) viewing area, a mid-size option in the 1481WDH range. Extra deep kits like this one are designed to provide protection and easy access to components and equipment installed inside an enclosure, giving panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers 2.5 inches of extra usable depth behind the window.

The frame is 14 gauge mild steel finished in ANSI 61 gray recoatable powder, and the window is 0.25 in thick UV resistant polycarbonate. An oil resistant neoprene gasket ensures a watertight seal, so the kit maintains the environmental protection level of the enclosure: painted mild steel versions maintain Type 4 and 12, and this part is listed as UL/CSA Type 12 and Type 4.

Overall dimensions are 22.19 in (564 mm) by 16.14 in (410 mm), with the part page giving a size of 22.2 in x 16.2 in x 2.75 in (564 mm x 411 mm x 70 mm) (H x W x D).
