Hammond 1457TEP 2-Pack Flat EMI End Panel Kit, 1457T

The Hammond 1457TEP is a 2-pack replacement end panel kit without mounting flanges for 1457T enclosures in the 1457-EMI Series of EMI/RFI shielded extruded aluminum enclosures. The series ordering table lists it as the End Panel Kit (No Mounting Flanges) in a 2-pack for enclosure part numbers beginning with 1457T. It suits OEM engineers and technicians who need spare or additional end panels for these shielded cases.

The panels are die-cast aluminum alloy in black. Across the 1457-EMI Series, end panels are described as rugged yet easy to machine and are painted in a durable black satin powder paint, making them practical for adding connectors, switches or cable entries. The part data lists an IP54 rating.

1457T enclosures use a 165.50 mm wide x 54.00 mm high extrusion profile in 160 mm and 220 mm lengths and take PCBs up to 160.00 mm wide. Flat end panels in this kit match the EMI Shielded, No Flanges enclosures in that family, such as 1457T1601E, 1457T1601EBK, 1457T2201E and 1457T2201EBK. For a wall-mountable alternative, the matching kit is 1457TEPF; the 10-pack equivalent of this style is 1457TEP-10.

Conductive EMI gaskets (1457TEG-10) and water-tight gaskets (1457TPG-10) are sold separately in 10-packs, and replacement assembly screws come in packs of 100 as 1457MS100, with a recommended screw torque of 5 lbf/in. The 1457TEP ships in a bag at 0.21 lbs (0.10 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
