The 1457T2201BK is the longest 1457T watertight enclosure, offering a 220 mm extruded aluminum body for larger PC boards or equipment interfacing. It measures 8.66 in x 6.51 in x 2.15 in (220 mm x 165 mm x 55 mm) and is designed to meet IP65, suiting engineers who need space for a full-size board in a sealed metal case.
A single extrusion of aluminum 6063 forms the body, finished in black powder coat, with a minimum thickness of 0.06" (1.5 mm). The ends are closed by Type 380 diecast aluminum panels in black powder paint, which are easy to machine and seal with full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets.
Maximum P.C. board size on the part page is 219 mm x 159 mm, and the drawing notes it fits a 220 mm (8.661") x 160 mm (6.299") PCB. Boards slide horizontally into slots in the extrusion. Drawing dimensions include 220.00 ± 0.50 mm inside face to face, 161.00 mm inside width, 48.00 mm inside height, 231.15 mm overall length and 168.46 mm overall width.
The flat end panels have no flanges. Each purchased assembly includes the box, end panels, #6 Taptight screws with O-rings, self-adhesive rubber feet and gaskets, and a 0.75 mm recess on the body accepts a label or membrane keypad.
