The 1457T2202BK is the flanged, wall-mountable version of the 220 mm 1457T watertight enclosure. Designed to meet IP65, it gives integrators an 8.66 in x 6.51 in x 2.15 in (220 mm x 165 mm x 55 mm) extruded aluminum housing that fixes to walls or equipment through its flanged end panels.
The body is extruded in one piece from aluminum 6063 with a 0.06" (1.5 mm) minimum thickness and a black powder coat finish. Its end panels are Type 380 diecast aluminum in black powder paint, sealed with full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets and easy to machine.
The drawing gives 251.97 mm (9.920 in) overall length across the flanges and 231.15 mm across the end panels. Inside space is 220.00 ± 0.50 mm face to face, 161.00 ± 0.75 mm wide and 48.00 ± 0.60 mm high. Boards up to 219 mm x 159 mm (part page) slide horizontally into the extruded slots; the drawing notes it fits a 220 mm x 160 mm PCB.
The assembly ships with the box, flanged end panels, #6 Taptight screws with O-rings, self-adhesive rubber feet and gaskets. Thread forming screws are black zinc plated to ASTM B633-13; tighten to 5 lbf/in. A 0.75 mm recess on the body is provided for labels or a membrane keypad.
