Hammond 1457LWPF-10 1457L Flanged Watertight End Panel Kit, 10-Pack

The 1457LWPF-10 is a 10-pack of flanged watertight end panels and gaskets for 1457 Series enclosures whose part numbers begin with 1457L. It lets OEM builders and service teams replace damaged panels, stock spares for machining, or convert a 1457L enclosure to the version with integrated mounting flanges.

The panels are die-cast aluminum in black. In the series description, 1457 end panels are rugged yet easy to machine diecast aluminum with full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets, which makes them practical to drill or mill for connectors, glands and switches.

According to the series ordering table, 1457L enclosures use a 104.00 mm wide by 32.00 mm high extrusion in 120.00 mm and 160.00 mm lengths (1457L1201, 1457L1202, 1457L1601, 1457L1602 and their BK versions). The part carries an IP65 rating.

Across the 1457 Series, each enclosure is supplied with its extruded body, diecast end panels, gaskets and hardware, and extra end panel kits are sold separately. Enclosure assembly uses thread forming screws, black zinc plated to ASTM B633-13, with a recommended screw torque of 5 lbf/in.

The kit is packed in a bag with a shipping weight of 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant. For flat panels without flanges choose 1457LWP-10; for the 2-pack of this kit choose 1457LWPF. Replacement water-tight gaskets (1457LPG-10), EMI gaskets (1457LEG-10) and assembly screws (1457MS100) are also listed.
