Hammond 1457KEP 1457K Flat EMI/RFI End Panel Kit, 2-Pack

The 1457KEP is a replacement kit of two EMI/RFI end panels without mounting flanges with gaskets, listed by the manufacturer as the "1457K EMI/RFI end panels and gasket kit - 2/pack". It is intended for 1457-EMI series shielded enclosures whose part numbers begin with 1457K, and suits maintenance teams replacing damaged panels, engineers building spares for machined prototypes, or anyone converting between flat and flanged ends.

The panels are aluminum (die-cast alloy) in black, matching the series end panels that are painted in a durable black satin powder paint and are easy to machine for connectors and switches. In the 1457-EMI design, each end panel seals against the extruded body with a full-perimeter conductive foam/fabric gasket of Ni/Cu (nickel/copper) with CPSA (conductive pressure sensitive adhesive), and the kit carries an IP54 rating.

These are plain end panels without mounting flanges, matching enclosures ordered in the flat-panel version. If you need wall-mounting flanges instead, the flanged kits are 1457KEPF (2-pack) and 1457KEPF-10 (10-pack).

This 2-pack replaces both ends of one enclosure; the kit ships in a bag with a shipping weight of 0.09 lbs (0.04 kg). The 1457KEP is RoHS and REACH compliant. Enclosure assembly screws are sold separately in packs of 100 as 1457MS100, with a recommended screw torque of 5 lbf/in, and water-tight or EMI replacement gaskets are also available as 1457KPG-10 and 1457KEG-10.
