The 1457CEP-10 is a replacement EMI/RFI end panel and gasket kit for Hammond 1457C extruded aluminum enclosures in the 1457-EMI Series, supplied as a 10-pack. It is intended for engineers and technicians who need to replace, modify or re-machine the ends of a shielded 1457C enclosure without replacing the whole body.
The panels are die-cast aluminum alloy in black. In the 1457-EMI Series, the end panels are described as rugged yet easy to machine, painted in a durable black satin powder paint, and sealed with full-perimeter conductive foam/fabric gaskets made of Ni/Cu (nickel/copper) with CPSA (conductive pressure sensitive adhesive). That conductive seal is what continues the enclosure's EMI/RFI shielding across the joint between body and panel.
These are flat end panels without mounting flanges, matching non-flanged 1457C EMI enclosures such as the 1457C801E and 1457C1201E. For flanged panels that allow wall or chassis mounting, order 1457CEPF-10.
