The 1455PAL-10 is a 10-pack of clear anodized aluminum end panels for 1455P enclosures in the 1455 Series of extruded aluminum enclosures. It is intended for builders who stock spare panels for production runs, need to replace damaged or already-machined panels, or want to re-finish the ends of an existing 1455P housing.
The panels are aluminum in a clear (anodize) finish. The series offers extra end panels in 10-packs in clear, black, red or blue anodized finishes, and accessory panels and bezels allow for mixing and matching of colours, so a clear end can be combined with a different body colour when that helps identify a unit. The other finishes for the 1455P size are black (1455PALBK-10), blue (1455PALBU-10), red (1455PALRD-10).
On the 1455 Series metal-end-panel enclosures, the flat aluminum end panels are fitted together with open black plastic bezels and secured with #6 x 3/8" thread rolling steel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive; the recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in. Replacement screws are sold separately in quantities of 100 (1455MS100 natural, 1455MS100BK black).
