Hammond 1455N1201 120x103x53mm Clear Anodized Aluminum Enclosure, IP54

1455N1201 is a clear anodized extruded aluminum PC board enclosure measuring 120 x 103 x 53 mm (4.72 x 4.06 x 2.09 in), supplied with metal end panels and a removable sliding plate. It is designed to house PC boards or for equipment interfacing, making it a fit for electronics designers, OEM engineers and integrators building instruments, controllers and interface modules.

The rugged body is extruded aluminum with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06 in (1.5 mm), finished in clear anodize, and carries an IP54 rating. PC boards mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the body; the extrusion is designed for a 100 mm wide PC board, and the maximum board size is 119 mm long x 99 mm wide.

As a metal end plate version, it includes two flat aluminum end panels colour matched to the housing, two open black plastic bezels, the extruded body with sliding plate and four adhesive rubber feet (replacements: 1421T2CL, pack of 24). End panels fasten with #6 x 3/8 in thread-rolling steel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive; clear anodized versions include natural screws (replacement 100-pack 1455MS100). Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in.

For surface mounting, the drawing shows optional flange end panels (1455NF). The manufacturer notes these enclosures can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing) and that solid models are available in STEP or IGES. 1455N1201 is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.56 lbs (0.25 kg). A version with plastic end panels is 1455N1202.
