Hammond 1455LPLY-10 Yellow ABS Closed End Caps, 10-Pack

1455LPLY-10 is a 10-pack of yellow closed bezels, the solid plastic end caps used on 1455L extruded aluminum enclosures. Plastic end plate versions of the 1455 Series ship with two closed end panels in black; this pack provides spares or an alternative colour for engineers, repair benches and product builders working with 1455L housings.

Each end cap is moulded from ABS plastic in yellow. A solid cap closes off the end of the extrusion completely, giving a blank face that can be drilled or cut for connectors, cable entries, switches or LEDs as your design requires. Because accessory panels and bezels can be mixed and matched, the yellow caps can be combined with clear, black, blue or red anodized 1455L housings for colour coding.

The 1455L extrusion is 103 mm wide and 30.5 mm deep and is built in 80, 120, 160 and 220 mm lengths; the plastic end plate models are the 1455L802, 1455L1202, 1455L1602 and 1455L2202 families. One end cap part covers every length, and ten caps close both ends of five enclosures.

The series fastens its end panels with #6 x 3/8 in thread-rolling steel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive, at a recommended torque of 5 lbf-in; replacement screws come in packs of 100 as 1455MS100BK (black) or 1455MS100 (natural). 1455LPLY-10 is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in a bag at 0.3 lbs (0.14 kg). The same end cap in yellow is also sold as 1455LPLY, and other colours include black, red, yellow, translucent red and translucent blue.
