Hammond 1455K1202BK 120x78x43mm Black Aluminum Enclosure, Plastic Ends

The 1455K1202BK pairs a black anodized extruded aluminum body with black plastic end panels in a 120 x 78 x 43 mm size. It is intended to house PC boards or for equipment interfacing where an all-black housing is preferred.

The body is extruded aluminum with a minimum thickness of 0.06 in (1.5 mm), finished in black anodized aluminum. It measures 4.72 in x 3.07 in x 1.69 in (120 mm x 78 mm x 43 mm), with the drawing showing a 120.00 ±0.50 mm length, 78.00 mm extrusion width and 43.02 mm height. Printed circuit boards up to 119 mm long and 74 mm wide mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the body, and the enclosure includes a removable sliding plate.

Each enclosure includes two closed black plastic end panels, four adhesive rubber feet and #6 x 3/8 in thread rolling steel end panel screws with a #4 flat head phillips drive in a black finish. Tighten end panel screws to the recommended 5 lbf-in. Replacement feet are 1421T2CL (pack of 24) and replacement screws are 1455MS100BK (quantity 100).

The enclosure is IP54 rated and RoHS and REACH compliant. It ships in shrink wrap and weighs 0.41 lbs (0.19 kg). The metal end panel equivalent is 1455K1201BK. Hammond can factory modify these enclosures (milling, drilling, printing), and solid models are offered in STEP or IGES.
