Hammond 1455CS1202 120mm Square Aluminum Enclosure, Closed Plastic Bezels

The 1455CS1202 is a clear anodized, square-profile extruded aluminum enclosure measuring 120 mm x 54 mm x 54 mm (4.72 in x 2.13 in x 2.13 in). It is the plastic end panel version of this 120 mm length, closing both ends with black closed bezels for builders who want a fully capped housing for a PC board or interface circuit.

The extruded aluminum body has a minimum wall thickness of 0.06" (1.5 mm). Inside, PC boards slide horizontally into slots extruded into the body; the extrusion is designed for a 50 mm PC board and the internal opening is 51.00 ± 0.50 mm. This size appears in the series table of enclosures without a sliding plate.

Included are the body, two closed black plastic end panels, four adhesive rubber feet and #6 x 3/8" thread-rolling steel end panel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive, supplied in a natural finish for this clear enclosure. Tighten to the recommended 5 lbf-in. Spare feet are 1421T2CL (pack of 24); spare screws are 1455MS100 (natural, quantity 100). Replacement closed bezels for 1455CS enclosures are listed as 1455CSPLBK (2-pack) and 1455CSPLBK-10 (10-pack).

The drawing gives 57.13 mm (2.249 in) across the end with the closed bezel installed. The 1455CS1202 weighs 0.36 lbs (0.16 kg) shipped, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing), with STEP or IGES solid models available.
