Hammond 1427U3 4.5" Chrome Steel Chassis Handle, 1.50" Deep, 10-32

The 1427U3 is a round steel chassis handle with 4.50 in (114 mm) mounting hole centers and a Bright Chrome Plated finish. It is a single pull handle for equipment chassis, front panels and drawers, suited to OEM engineers, panel builders and integrators who need a steel handle on chassis, panel or drawer hardware. It is sold individually and ships as a kit with its mounting hardware.

The handle is formed from round CR steel with a 0.31 in (8 mm) diameter and carries the Bright Chrome Plated finish. The series table lists the black version of this size as 1427U3BK. Its 4.50 in centers sit between the 4.00 in and 5.00 in handles in the series table, making it the choice when a hole pattern falls at 4.50 in.

Each end of the handle is tapped 10-32 UNF-2B x 14.27 mm [0.500 in], and the kit includes 2 Panhead 10-32 x 1/2" screws and 2 internal tooth lockwashers, so it fastens from behind the panel through two holes drilled at 4.50 in centers. The 1427U3 is listed as REACH compliant and RoHS compliant.
