Hammond 1427R Grey ABS Plastic Tray Handle

The 1427R is a grey plastic tray handle in the Styled Plastic Handles group of the 1427 & M series. It is designed as a pull for trays, drawers and panels on electronic equipment, and suits OEM designers who want a molded plastic grip rather than a metal bar handle. Its grey color also makes it a natural match for light-colored equipment where a black handle would stand out.

The handle is molded from ABS plastic in light gray. The series table gives an overall length of 3.98 in (101 mm) and height of 2.47 in (63 mm); the drawing confirms the 101.00 mm [3.976 in] overall length and includes a mounting opening layout for the panel cut-out.

Mounting uses an M3-0.5 thread, and hardware is included. Like the rest of the series, the handle is sold individually, so order one per tray or panel.
