The 1427J is a flexible vinyl strap handle from the Styled Plastic Handles group of the 1427 & M series. Rated for 50 lbs, it is a carry strap for portable cases, test equipment and enclosures that need to be lifted but should sit flat when not in use.
The strap is vinyl with a spring steel core, finished black with chrome plated ends. The part page lists an 8.5 in length and a size of 8.5 in x 0.77 in x 0.19 in (216 mm x 20 mm x 5 mm). The series table gives the overall handle length as 9.06 in (230 mm) and height as 1.00 in (25 mm).
