Hammond 1427NCGPG9B 8 mm PG9 Black Nylon Liquid-Tight Cordgrip, 4

The 1427NCGPG9B is a black nylon liquid-tight cordgrip with a PG9 thread, sized for cable from 4 mm to 8 mm in diameter. It is used where a cable enters or leaves an enclosure and needs a sealed entry with strain relief.

The body is black (RAL 9005) nylon with an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal. Its large opening accepts a wide range of cable diameters, and the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, giving strain relief without twisting or damaging the cable. A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are included.

This standard-length PG9 part calls for a 0.59 in (15 mm) mounting hole. Outer length (L) is 0.87 in (22 mm), inner thread length (T) is 0.31 in (8 mm), and wire diameter spans 0.16 in (4 mm) to 0.31 in (8 mm).
