Hammond 1427NCGPG9G 8 mm PG9 Gray Nylon Liquid-Tight Cordgrip, 4

The 1427NCGPG9G is a gray (RAL 7035) nylon liquid-tight cordgrip with a PG9 thread, for sealing and strain-relieving cable from 4 mm to 8 mm in diameter where it enters or leaves an enclosure. The gray finish suits light-gray enclosures and panels.

A nylon body and NBR (nitrile rubber) seal, with a large opening, let the gland accept a wide range of cable diameters. As it is tightened, the strain relief elements close in a circular sequence on the sealing ring and hold the cable without twisting or damaging it. A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are included.

The 1427NCGPG9G provides IP68 protection and is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It is UL listed with a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Static operating temperature is -40°C to 100°C (up to 120° instantaneous) and dynamic is -20°C to 80°C (up to 100° instantaneous). It ships in a bag at 0.02 lbs (0.01 kg).
