Hammond 1427NCGPG42G PG42 Gray Nylon Cable Gland for 32-38 mm

The 1427NCGPG42G is a gray (RAL 7035) PG42 nylon cable gland for sealing cable between 32 mm (1.26 in) and 38 mm (1.50 in) in diameter. It gives large cable a liquid-tight path into or out of an enclosure and matches gray cabinet and housing finishes.

The nylon body contains an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal behind a large opening. Strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, holding the cable firmly without twisting or damaging it. A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are supplied.

Hammond recommends using the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that fits the application. Torque values are a guide and can vary depending on the application.

Across the 1427NCG series, protection is IP68 and the design is intended to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The part is UL listed, UL94 V-2 rated, and RoHS and REACH compliant. Static operating temperature is -40°C to 100°C (up to 120° instantaneous); dynamic is -20°C to 80°C (up to 100° instantaneous).
