Hammond 1427NCGPG13LB 12 mm PG13.5 Extra-Long Black Nylon Cordgrip, 6

The 1427NCGPG13LB is the extra-long black PG13.5 nylon liquid-tight cordgrip. Its inner thread length (T) is 0.59 in (15 mm), up from 9 mm on the standard PG13.5, while the 6–12 mm cable range, 21 mm mounting hole and 27 mm outer length are unchanged. It seals cable entering or leaving an enclosure.

Black (RAL 9005) nylon forms the body, with an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal behind a large opening that takes a wide range of cable diameters. The strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, giving strain relief without twisting or damaging the cable. A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are included.

Installation of the 1427NCGPG13LB calls for a 0.83 in (21 mm) mounting hole. Outer length (L) is 1.06 in (27 mm) and wire diameter runs from 0.24 in (6 mm) to 0.47 in (12 mm). Guide torque for PG13.5 is 3.5–4.5 N-m on the sealing nut and 3–5 N-m on the locknut; actual values can vary depending on the application.

It provides IP68 protection and is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It is UL listed with a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Operating temperatures are -40°C to 100°C static (up to 120° instantaneous) and -20°C to 80°C dynamic (up to 100° instantaneous). Shipping weight is 0.03 lbs (0.01 kg).
