Hammond 1427NCGM50G 38 mm Cable M50x1.5 Gray Nylon Cordgrip, 32

The 1427NCGM50G is the gray (RAL 7035) M50x1.5 liquid-tight nylon cordgrip. It seals and strain-relieves cable from 32 mm to 38 mm in diameter where it enters or leaves an enclosure, and the gray color blends with light-gray enclosures and panels.

Inside the nylon body is an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal with a large opening for a wide range of cable diameters. The strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, holding the cable without twisting or damaging it. Each cordgrip is supplied with a nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring.

Plan for a 1.97 in (50 mm) mounting hole. The 1427NCGM50G measures 1.93 in (49 mm) in outer length (L), with an inner thread length (T) of 0.51 in (13 mm), and handles wire diameters of 1.26 in (32 mm) to 1.50 in (38 mm). The guide torque for M50 is 11–13 N-m for the sealing nut and 8–10 N-m for the locknut.

It is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with IP68 protection, is UL listed with a UL94 V-2 flammability rating, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Static operating range is -40°C to 100°C (up to 120° instantaneous); dynamic range is -20°C to 80°C (up to 100° instantaneous). It ships in a bag weighing 0.22 lbs (0.10 kg).
