Hammond 1427NCGM50B 38 mm Cable M50x1.5 Black Nylon Cordgrip, 32

The 1427NCGM50B is a black nylon liquid-tight cordgrip with an M50x1.5 metric thread, intended for large cables from 32 mm to 38 mm in diameter entering or leaving an enclosure. The manufacturer advises using the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that will fit your application.

It combines a black (RAL 9005) nylon body with an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal and a large opening. The strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, providing strain relief without twisting or damaging the cable. A nylon locknut and an EPDM o-ring are included.

The 1427NCGM50B mounts in a 1.97 in (50 mm) hole. Outer length (L) is 1.93 in (49 mm), and the inner thread length (T) is 0.51 in (13 mm). Wire diameter runs from 1.26 in (32 mm) to 1.50 in (38 mm). For M50, guide torque is 11–13 N-m on the sealing nut and 8–10 N-m on the locknut; actual values can vary depending on the application.

Protection is IP68, and the part is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The part is UL listed, carries a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
