The 1426K-B is a 6 in wide x 5 in deep x 4 in high (152 x 127 x 102 mm) metal instrument enclosure in satin blue, the blue counterpart of the beige 1426K. As the smallest 1426 size, it suits compact benchtop instruments, controllers and electronics projects that need a finished metal case.
The top and bottom are 20 gauge steel for strength, finished in satin gulf blue powder coat. The front and rear panels are easy-to-machine 0.064 in thick aluminum: the front panel is satin black and the rear panel matches the satin blue case color. The rear panel and the bottom of the enclosure are vented.
Each 1426K-B includes four 6-32 x 1/4 in self-tapping Phillips nickel plated screws and four self-adhesive rubber feet. Replacement screws are available as 1421J6 (pack of six 6-32 Philips head screws) and replacement rubber feet as 1421T9.
Listed dimensions are width 6.00 in (152 mm), depth 5.00 in (127 mm) and height 4.00 in (102 mm). The enclosure ships shrink wrapped at 1.66 lbs (0.75 kg), is RoHS and REACH compliant, and can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing) on quotation, with STEP or IGES solid models available.
