Hammond 1422N4SSF24F 72x72x24 Deep 304 Stainless Floormount Enclosure

When 12 in of depth is not enough, the 1422N4SSF24F provides a 24.69 in deep Type 4X floormount enclosure in 304 stainless steel. As the largest 304 model of the 1422 N4 SS series, it is designed for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in locations that are hosed down, very wet or subject to serious corrosion.

The enclosure is 72.13 in H x 72.06 in W x 24.69 in D (1,832 x 1,830 x 627 mm). Drawing values include 24.06 in of usable depth, 84.13 in overall height on the welded 12 in floor stands, two 32.55 in wide by 69.38 in high door openings, 34.00 in wide doors and 32.39 in of clear space available on each door. Inside, a removable 10 gauge inner panel of 68.00 x 68.00 in (1727 x 1727 mm) in white powder coating mounts on collar studs and panel supports, with a removable center post to simplify installation.

The shell is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, no knockouts, cutouts or holes, and a natural smooth brushed finish; larger enclosures in the series get body stiffeners for rigidity. Heavy duty stainless steel clamps secure the continuously hinged doors against a seamless poured-in place gasket, a formed lip keeps flowing liquids out, and the doors accept a padlock. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles, bonding and grounding studs for each door, and a literature pocket are included.

The 1422N4SSF24F carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It weighs 925 lbs (419.57 kg) for shipping and is packed on a skid.
