Hammond 1422N4SSD12F 60x60x12 304 Stainless Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

Integrators who need a square, 60 in wide Type 4X cabinet in 304 stainless steel can specify the 1422N4SSD12F. It is part of the 1422 N4 SS series, designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in hosed-down, very wet or corrosive environments, and it stands on 12 in floor stands welded to the body.

This size measures 60.13 in H x 60.06 in W x 12.69 in D (1,527 x 1,526 x 322 mm), with 72.13 in overall height per the drawing. Its two 28.00 in wide doors open to two 26.55 in wide door openings, 57.38 in high, separated by a center post that is removable for easy panel installation. Usable depth is 12.06 in and each door has 26.39 in of clear space available. The removable 10 gauge inner panel is 56.00 x 56.00 in (1422 x 1422 mm) with white powder coating, seated on panel supports and collar studs.

Construction is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The continuously hinged doors are secured with heavy duty stainless steel clamps, can be removed by pulling the hinge pin, and have padlock provision. A seamless poured-in place gasket and a formed lip on door and opening keep liquids out. Lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles, a literature pocket and bonding and grounding studs for each door are provided.

The 1422N4SSD12F is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight is 567 lbs (257.19 kg) on a skid.
