Hammond 1422N4SSE12F 72x60x12 304 Stainless Double-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4SSE12F adds height to the 60 in wide format of the 1422 N4 SS series. Built from formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel, this Type 4X double door floormount enclosure is made to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment is hosed down, stays very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

It measures 72.13 in H x 60.06 in W x 12.69 in D (1,832 x 1,526 x 322 mm). According to the drawing, overall height on the welded 12 in floor stands is 84.13 in, the two door openings are 26.55 in wide and 69.38 in high, usable depth is 12.09 in, and each 28.00 in door has 26.39 in of clear space. The 68.00 x 56.00 in (1727 x 1422 mm) removable 10 gauge inner panel is powder coated white and fitted on panel supports and collar studs; pull the removable center post for easier panel loading.

Seams are smooth and continuously welded with no knockouts, cutouts or holes, and body stiffeners are provided in the series' larger enclosures for extra rigidity. Heavy duty stainless steel clamps hold the continuously hinged doors against a seamless poured-in place gasket, while a formed lip on the door and opening top excludes flowing liquids. Hinge pins pull out to remove the doors, and padlocking is provided for. The unit has stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles, a literature pocket, and bonding and grounding studs for each door.

Certifications for the 1422N4SSE12F include UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, plus RoHS and REACH compliance. It ships on a skid at 645 lbs (292.57 kg).
