Hammond 1421T3 0.50 in Black Square Self-Adhesive Feet, 24 Pack

The 1421T3 is a package of 24 black square feet from the 1421-FEET Series. Each square foot is 0.50 in (13 mm) wide and 0.23 in (6 mm) high, giving small enclosures, instruments and desktop equipment a raised, anti-skid footing on a tabletop.

The feet attach with a self-adhesive backing that uses Natural Rubber R-30 adhesive. The part page gives the material as rubber, and the series data states that the feet are made from polyurethane material, except the 1421T7. The series service temperature rating is -34°C to 66°C (-30°F to 150°F).

To get the best adhesion, the manufacturer recommends the following:

• Clean surfaces with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)
• Apply firm pressure to generate good initial contact
• Allow time, since the adhesion bond will increase over time

The 1421T3 is RoHS compliant and REACH compliant, and the package ships at 0.04 lbs (0.02 kg). Compared with the 1421T2 flat round foot of the same 0.50 in width, the 1421T3 is square and stands taller at 0.23 in versus 0.14 in. For a larger square foot, the series also offers the 0.81 in 1421T4, and for a smaller, lower one, the 0.47 in 1421T8BK.
