Hammond 1418TY24 60x36x24 in NEMA 12 Freestanding Enclosure, Wide

The 1418TY24 is a 60 x 36 x 24 in nominal (60.06 x 36.06 x 24.06 in, 1,526 x 916 x 611 mm) NEMA Type 12 freestanding enclosure. Its 36 in width gives a wider door opening than the 24 in wide models, while the 60 in height keeps the cabinet lower than the 72 in sizes.

The body is formed 12 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Doors hang on heavy gauge continuous hinges and are secured by a three point latch operated with a key locking automotive type handle; the latch rods have rollers for easier closing. Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and lifting eyes make the enclosure easier to handle.

Mounting channels are welded inside for optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the listed optional full height, full width panel for this size is 60TYFW. Per the drawing, the door opening is 33.31 x 49.31 in. There is provision for light kit mounting, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door, and a door literature pocket. Maximum usable depth is 23.80 in. The cover and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coat.

The 1418TY24 is listed UL 508A Type 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 12 (Cert. LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships on a skid at 346 lbs (156.94 kg).
