The 1418N4SSL10 is a 36 x 24 x 10 in (914 x 610 x 254 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel. It shares its 36 x 24 in face with the 8 in deep model but adds depth: the part drawing shows 10.17 in of usable depth, useful where taller devices, relays or pneumatic components need more room behind the door. It is designed for instrument enclosures, control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring in wet, hose-down or corrosive locations.
The body is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded, smooth seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A stainless steel continuous hinge (removable by pulling the pin) and stainless steel clamps close the door onto a seamless poured-in place gasket, while formed lips on the door and enclosure exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. Provision for padlocking is included.
The removable 12 gauge inner panel is 33 in by 21 in (838 x 533 mm), white powder coated and mounted on collar studs. The door opening on the drawing is 21.21 in wide by 33.21 in high. Welded brackets provide for wall mounting; a bonding stud on the door, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a door literature pocket complete the fit-out.
The 1418 N4 SS series is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. This part carries UL File E65324 and CSA Cert. LR21001, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
