Hammond 1418N4SSJ12 24x24x12 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The 1418N4SSJ12 is the deepest 24 in x 24 in size in the 1418 N4 SS Series, measuring 24 in H x 24 in W x 12 in D (610 x 610 x 305 mm). Formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel, this Type 4X wallmount enclosure gives room for deeper electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control components and instrumentation in locations that are hosed down, very wet or corrosive.

The drawing lists 12.17 in usable depth and a 21.20 in x 21.20 in door opening. A removable 12 gauge inner panel, 21.00 in x 21.00 in (533 x 533 mm), is included; it is white powder coated and mounts on collar studs.

The enclosure has smooth, continuously welded seams with no knockouts, cutouts or holes and a formed lip on door and body to keep flowing liquids and contaminants out. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket, closes with stainless steel clamps, and can be padlocked. It hangs on a stainless steel continuous hinge that is removed by pulling the hinge pin. A bonding stud on the door, grounding stud in the enclosure and literature pocket inside the door are provided.

Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes on 18.00 in x 25.25 in spacing (per drawing) handle wall mounting. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The 1418N4SSJ12 ships at 71 lbs (32.21 kg).
