Hammond 1418N4SSC10 20x16x10 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The 1418N4SSC10 is the deepest 20 in x 16 in size in the 1418 N4 SS Series at 20 in H x 16 in W x 10 in D (508 x 406 x 254 mm). This Type 4X wallmount enclosure is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel and gives extra room for deeper electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control components in housings that face hose-down cleaning, very wet conditions or corrosion.

Per the drawing, usable depth is 10.17 in and the door opening is 13.21 in x 17.21 in. The included removable 12 gauge inner panel is 17.00 in x 13.00 in (432 x 330 mm), finished in white powder coating and mounted on collar studs.

The enclosure has smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes, and a formed lip on door and body to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and is secured by stainless steel clamps, with provision for padlocking. Its stainless steel continuous hinge can be removed by pulling the hinge pin. A bonding stud on the door, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a door literature pocket are provided.

Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes on 10.00 in x 21.25 in spacing handle wall mounting. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The 1418N4SSC10 ships at 42 lbs (19.05 kg).
