Hammond 1418N4ALK12 30x24x12 In Type 4X Aluminum Wallmount Enclosure

The 1418N4ALK12 is a 30 x 24 x 12 in (762 x 610 x 305 mm) Type 4X aluminum wallmount enclosure with a continuous hinge door and aluminum door clamps. The 12 in depth version of the 30 x 24 size, it suits control housings with deep components in wet or corrosive locations.

The body is 0.081 in and the door 0.100 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum, with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A formed lip on door and enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. The door is secured with aluminum clamps, has provision for padlocking, and comes off by pulling the aluminum hinge pin. The removable 12 gauge steel inner panel is white powder coated and mounts on collar studs; the door carries a literature pocket and bonding stud, with a grounding stud in the enclosure.

The 1418N4ALK12 is 30 in x 24 in x 12 in (762 mm x 610 mm x 305 mm) (H x W x D). It includes a removable 27.00 x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm) steel inner panel, and the drawing shows 12.09 in of usable depth. For layout, the manufacturer drawing shows an overall height of 32.25 in including the mounting brackets and an overall depth of 13.22 in, a 27.22 x 21.22 in door opening and 12.09 in of usable depth. Mounting holes are 0.44 in diameter, and the shipping weight is 52 lbs (23.59 kg).
