Hammond 1418JM13 36x30x13 In Type 12 Steel Wallmount JIC Enclosure

Part number 1418JM13 is a Type 12 mild steel wallmount enclosure measuring 36 x 30 x 13 in (914 x 762 x 330 mm). It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments, and gives integrators and facilities teams a sealed, screw-cover housing that ships with its own inner panel.

Hammond forms the enclosure from 14 gauge steel and continuously welds the seams, leaving a smooth box with no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door is continuously hinged and fastened with plated screws that thread into sealed wells, sealing on oil resistant gaskets that are permanently secured. The finish is phosphatization followed by recoatable ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

A removable 12 gauge inner panel measuring 33 x 27 in (838 x 686 mm), finished in white powder coating, is included and mounts on collar studs. The manufacturer drawing shows a 29.86 in door opening width and 12.17 in of usable depth. A bonding stud on the door, a grounding stud on the enclosure and a literature pocket on the inside of the door round out the fit-out. The 1418JM13 combines the 36 x 30 in footprint with a 13 in deep body, one of the two deepest sizes in the 1418J range, providing about 12 in of usable depth for larger drives, transformers or instrument assemblies.

Welded brackets provide for wall mounting; the drawing shows 0.44 in mounting holes on a 24.00 x 37.25 in pattern and an overall height of 38.25 in including brackets. The enclosure is UL 508A Type 12 (UL File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and IP54 to IEC 60529, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight is 125 lbs (56.70 kg).
