The 1418ACS is a steel center panel support kit for two-door freestanding enclosures with an enclosure height of 60.00 in (1524 mm). It is aimed at panel builders and OEM engineers who want to reuse panels, swing frames and panel rails designed for single door enclosures inside a double door 1418FS or HN4FS Series enclosure.
Installed in the middle of the enclosure, the support splits the opening so that two single-door-width panels can be used side by side. The series literature gives the combinations it allows: two 20" panels in a 48" wide enclosure, two 26" panels in a 60" wide enclosure, or two 32" panels in a 72" wide enclosure.
The support mounts into the front-to-back mounting channels at the top and bottom of two-door enclosures and can be positioned at any depth, so it works with panels set forward or back in the cabinet. Its width adjusts from 1.91" to 2.34". It suits both single access and dual access double door enclosures.
The 1418ACS is made of steel finished in white, ships in a box at 15 lbs (6.80 kg), and is listed as REACH and RoHS compliant. For taller enclosures, the same series offers the 1418ZCS for 72 in and the 1418BCS for 90 in heights.
