The 1414N4SSO6 is the largest enclosure in the 1414 N4 SS Series ordering table at 16 x 14 x 6 in (406 x 356 x 152 mm). This Type 4X stainless steel junction box with a lift-off clamped cover offers a 14.75 x 12.88 in inner panel for terminal wiring, instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings.
It is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and finished in natural brushed stainless on cover and body. The lift-off cover is secured by stainless steel clamps and screws and closes against a seamless poured-in-place gasket, protecting equipment that may be hosed down, very wet or exposed to corrosion.
The removable 14 gauge inner panel is white powder coated and mounts on tapped studs. The drawing lists a 15.30 x 13.30 in cover opening, 5.35 in of usable depth and 15.15 x 13.15 in of clear space available on the cover. A bonding stud on the cover and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided.
Welded mounting brackets use 0.31 in holes on 12.00 x 16.75 in spacing. The 1414N4SSO6 is listed UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
