The 1414N4SSM6 is a 14 x 12 x 6 in (356 x 305 x 152 mm) Type 4X stainless steel junction box in the 1414 N4 SS Series, fitted with a lift-off cover and clamps. It is designed for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings in hose-down, very wet or corrosion-prone locations.
The body is 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and a natural brushed finish. Stainless steel clamps and screws hold the lift-off cover against a seamless poured-in-place gasket; a bonding stud on the cover and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided for earthing.
A removable 14 gauge inner panel measuring 12.75 x 10.88 in is included, finished in white powder coating and mounted on tapped studs. According to the drawing, the cover opening is 13.30 x 11.30 in, the usable depth is 5.35 in and 13.15 x 11.15 in of clear space is available on the cover.
Welded brackets with 0.31 in holes on 10.00 x 14.75 in spacing handle mounting. The 1414N4SSM6 is listed UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
