With a 12 x 10 in face and 5 in depth (305 x 254 x 127 mm), the 1414N4SSK is a Type 4X stainless steel junction box from the 1414 N4 SS Series for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings. The series is intended for places where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, or where corrosion may be a problem.
The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel, continuously welded with smooth seams and finished in natural brushed stainless. Its lift-off cover is secured by stainless steel clamps and screws and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket.

The 1414N4SSK is listed UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
