The 1414N4SSE is a square 6 x 6 x 4 in (152 x 152 x 102 mm) Type 4X stainless junction box from the 1414 N4 SS Series with a lift-off clamped cover. It is designed for use as an instrument enclosure, electrical junction box, terminal wiring enclosure or electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing where equipment may be hosed down, very wet or subject to corrosion.
The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams. Cover and body have a natural stainless steel brushed finish, and the lift-off cover is held by stainless steel clamps and screws against a seamless poured-in-place gasket.

Welded brackets with 0.31 in holes on 4.00 x 6.75 in spacing mount the box, and a bonding stud on the cover plus a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided. It is listed UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. REACH and RoHS compliant; ships in a box at 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
