Hammond 1414N4ALG 8x6x3.5 In Type 4X Aluminum Junction Box, Lift-Off

The 1414N4ALG measures 8 x 6 x 3.5 in (203 x 152 x 89 mm) and is a Type 4X aluminum junction box with a clamped lift-off cover and removable inner panel. The shallow 3.5 in depth keeps the box low-profile while the 8 in height gives space for a longer terminal row or DIN-style layout on the panel, for instrument and control builders working in wet or corrosive areas.

Construction follows the 1414 N4 AL series: the body is formed from 0.08 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The lift-off cover is secured with easily operated aluminum clamps and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting, a bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud inside the enclosure. Cover and enclosure are natural unfinished aluminum. The removable 14 gauge inner panel is finished in white powder coating and mounts on tapped studs.
